Q. How can I get a few more minutes to finish my game? A. If having played 40 minutes, and the lights go out, but you wish to play on to finish your game, provided the next court is not booked, this can be done by simply placing your fob on the court side controller. Q. My fob will not turn on the lights? A. To turn the lights ON it is necessary to hold the fob on the court side controller several seconds. This is because the system interrogates each controller and court timer in sequence. There are a total of six of these units and this can take up to three or four seconds depending where in the sequence it is when you are using your fob. Q. When I booked a court why was £5 deducted from my account? A. When you book a court a total of £5 for peak and £2.50 for off peak will be deducted from your account. This is because the total cost of the court and light fee is deducted from the person booking the court. When your opponent places his/her fob on the court side controller to turn the lights ON, £2.50 for peak courts and £125 for off peak courts, will be automatically transferred from his/her account into yours. Q. Will I loose all my booking fee if I cancel a court? A. If you wish to cancel a court you will be credited the full booking fee, if this is done more than 48 hours before the court time and date and the court is booked by someone else, otherwise you will receive a refund of half the booking fee. If it is less than 48 hours you will receive a full refund if someone else books the court, otherwise there is no refund. Q. Why was my account was debited by £5 when I used my fob to turn the lights on? A. If you booked the court, your opponent must uses his/her fob on the court side controller to turn the lights ON, otherwise the system assumes you are playing a Guest and will debited your account by £5. A. When your are logged on to your account you can feed coins into the kiosk but the preferred method would be to write a cheque to "Stratford Sports Club Squash Section" and hand it to a committee member or simply drop it into the Squash Post box in Reception. Your account will be credited within 24 hours and will save you have to go to the club particularly now that you can book the court over the Internet. If you prefer you can do the same with cash. Q.Is there a list of members telephone numbers? We now have a new facility that allows you to find a member telephone number at the kiosk. Simply log on and select "Members List" . This will display an alphabetical keyboard. Select the letter of the members surname to list all those members who's surname starts with that letter. If there is more than a page you will need to scroll down to find the member you are looking for. Q. When I ask for a receipt to be printed, nothing happens? Q. How do I cancel a court at the kiosk? Login using your fob and then move the curses to the court you wish to cancel. When you have selected the court go to STATUS and select CANCELL. Q.How do I cancel a court Online? Logon to the booking system via the Squash Club Web site, enter your six digit access code which is the first three letters of you Christian name and Surname and your password. Go to "Your Bookings" and select " Cancel" on the end of the court you wish to remove. Q. I don't receive confirmation via email after I have booked a court online? To receive a confirmation email the system must have your email address which is entered in Your Membership Details on the booking system. Login as normal and go to Your Membership Details and email your email address. This is also were you can change your password. Q. How do I change my password? Login to the booking system as normal and then go to Your Membership Details. Enter your new password and repeat is again. It must be typed and not copied.
